Neighboring the Provence area in southern France, Montpellier is the ideal place to stay and take advantage of the seashore and the many hidden treasures of the Languedoc-Roussillon region.   • The colossal walled city of Carcassonne
Get ready for an outing to some fascinating Unesco World Heritage sites. This trip includes the magnificent medieval city of Carcassone, your discovery of the Cathar history with a visit of the city, ramparts, Basilica of St Nazaire and Château Comtal. In the afternoon, we'll stop at the Fonseranne staircase lock on the Cantal du Midi near Béziers.

  • The Pont du Gard, the immense roman aqueduct
The site surrounding the Pont du Gard, inscribed on the world Heritage list, covers 165 ha of natural Mediterranean landscapes. The site in an opportunity to see and discover a unique archaeological, historical and natural heritage through its discovery area : Museum, Film, children's area and a footpath through the Mediterranean landscape.
There are festival and artistic events year-round: lighting the Bridge, musical evenings...
The site is open every day, all the year. The bridge is in free to access.

  • Canal du Midi and its many locks

The "canal du midi", along its 240 km of inland waterways will make you discover the large variety of the landscapes! Benefit fully from this trail strewn with shells, walks with foot or by bycicle through by the locks.
